I like the concept and idea expressed, you look about one stop underexposed, if your equipment allows exposure bracketing, you'd benefit from giving that a try on captures where the lighting and color range is so similar. Keep at it, its a good effort....Mackroe

Ya, I feel the same way. It needs something. Not sure what, though.

I think I might have liked this better if the right side of the photo went seaward rather than landward, sort of like the big gnarly driftwood defending the shore against the imposing sea. It's a subtle thing but I think that's part of what would make it better. Not sure you could do it with this particular driftwood though.
