Those are ALL really nice! I love your treatments of the different images. Image #1 really rang my chimes! I've never had the opportunity to pan any horse shots.. but I think yours are inspirational. .. fast enough ss to stop motion blur on the horses' heads & riders.. yet slow enough to show motion on the legs & background. Fantastic. Thanks for sharing those.

Thanks Tonylong. I think the best time is right after a rain ... the horses rounding a curve with hoofs and mud flying ... nothing finer (well maybe there are finer things ... but it makes for a gtreat photo opp).

Well, keep it up!

We have a track here, the Portland Meadows, but I don't think it sees much action, not like Santa Anita. I checked their website and couldn't see any events coming up. I have to keep my ear to the ground, I guess, listening for the sound of hoof-beats approaching:)!

Well, keep it up!

Just make sure you remove it in time :eek:

Oh and the first b&w one is my other favourite - but they're all good. Well done. Panning horses is not easy I know.
