2nd one looks over saturated and over exposed.1st one isnt to bad..are you defusing your flash?and what settings are you using?

I am using 2 fong diffusers from your advice... they wrk great... you are right about the exposure... I think these were taken at F16, 200 speed... iso 100... any tips?

blown the whites but not sure why with that set up.
