I'm an interior designer looking for a new camera - need something with some manual options and good wide-angle and lighting features for indoor shots. I loved my Elph S100 size, P&S convenience but I need to step up to something that can provide more professional shots w/o spending more than $500 and weeks learning features. Any suggestions?

Thanks, Zoebhe

dont know if form factor is much of a concern, but you could try the s70 or the a95. both have a decent amount of manual functions, but the s70 has a wider angle lens that could prove useful in tight areas. the s70 can be found for just around $400 while the a95 can be had for around $300 and the s70 is a 7mp whereas the a95 is a 5mp cam. hope this helps.

Yes, thanks - I think I may give the a95 a try with the wide angle lens accessory. It's coming up tops on most of my encounters.
