oops wrong forum?

Had to take photos at two different venues which was of course impossible, so I gave a 400D, Tokina 12-24, 430EX to a friend to help me out. I forgot at the time that my Tokina is backfocusing on my 400D. Add to that the fact that he switched to P mode (which defaults to f/4, 1/60) and well...I can only cry.

Anyway just loaded up the photos and it's an absolute nightmare for about 380/400 shots. I think this will take me about 10000 hours in photoshop to get any decent pictures

I think I know the answer already but OOF photos are impossible to fix right?

You can try http://www.hamangia.freeserve.co.uk/

It is called unshake and that is really all I know about it...haven't tried it yet.

All the wide shot's should be fine, sure somthing else didn't go wrong?

12mm f4 should give you everything from a couple feet to infinity in focus.

It would have to be an extreme backfocus to screw that up.

Thanks for the replies!
I have a feeling that an off centre focus point was selected (most shots were at 24mm).

Yeah I would have thought there was a more dof but I guess I also am a bit of a pixel peeper :)

I should have given him my Tamron with auto focus point selection :(
