The first is incredible. I can't work out what the second one is.

Those are some really neat edits.
The 2nd one, is just someone sleeping?
Subtly highlighting random places. Odd, but works.

i like the 1st too, but it almost seems "made", like as if you edited in the people.
i'm sure you didn't, but i just get that feeling, i guess cause it seems like an impossible shot.
great work

I like # 3, there is a certain psychedelic feel to the image - it feels as if the landscape is rushing past the man rather than vice versa!
Good job!

Ooh I say, bravo sir. 1 and 3 for me, although 2 is mysterious and makes me...strain oh so hard, ...if I can just see through the darkness to her face...no no good can't see. Maybe I like that too actually, because I can't see what I really want to, photographic torture of sorts. You tease you.

well smudge, thats exactly what i intended with number 2, it's part of a series i'm working on actually, where you have to look at the picture for more than 10 seconds to actually work out what's going on..
i asure you though, the girl is hot :)

Well in that case, I guess 2 is the best. As you have managed to do what we all strive for. That is to communicate more than an image, but also an idea, a concept and have provoked thought and imagination as a result. Well done indeed.
Even if it was just one of us. i.e me. ;)

haha well just rememeber its not just the artist who does the job but the audience as well. so well done on having the critiquers eye and seeing what i strived to achieve :)

The first and third are great. The third makes me feel kind of woozy if I look at it for too long though...

hmm i liked the 1st picture, but the right side was to burned out.

Burned out, isn't always bad surely. I think that there is a difference between, technically superb photos and photos deliberately flawed to create an effect. Sometimes this is intentional, sometimes by accident, the nuance is in the presentation. This photo presented as part of a clearly artistic sequence works fine burned out. Would you for example, mark down 'four' as an out of focus shot ?
The burned out section first attracts your attention to the silhoueted figures then drives your eyes away from them across the rest of the shot to the perfectly sharp breakers. Just my opinion.
