the butterfly is a Ringlet he's been in the wars a bit, I saw these for the first time this weekend

Another great selection of insects Brian - the Plant Bug is superb.

I think the one you queried (sawfly/wasp) may well be a Hylaeus bee - the face is very similar to one I got ages ago and I believe LordV and Alistair have photographed a couple. Here is my pic for comparison
