They are nice. The bench shot with the bride has a lot of distracting features. Could you crop close to her. I think that would be much better. Also, it is underexposed on my monitor. The group shots are simple, not popping out at me, but they are fine. Keep it up. I really like the close ups, show much more emotion. And lighting is always tricky in churches. Did you PP all the photos?

I just adjusted the color slightly. I didn't crop because you can do so when you order them.

looks like most were shot with an 80mm lens (short tele). Did u shoot this whole thing with one lens?
u also need more full length shots to balance them out. some were cropped too tight and should have some breathing room around them. id also try to watch your bg for things u dont want in the pictures.

I know this is your third wedding, but I've been shooting weddings for over 5 years now and I always PP every shot I give to the client and crop to where I think it would be best. You leave that up to the client? I've never heard of that before, but hey, who am I?
Do you take time to take out all the imperfections in a shot? Like tan lines, smooth out skin on face, etc.?

I do take out imperfections. For example, the bride's brother just got back from wrestling camp with a black eye and a cut on his face. I took them out.
I didn't crop because I was worried about making the files too small. When someone orders an image online they can zoom in or out without changing the original file.

I had a Sigma 24-60 2.8 and a Canon 70-200 IS 2.8. I know the 70-200 was probably overdoing it but I shoot a lot of sports and that's what I'm most comfortable with.

Nice shots, you should watch your backgrounds on the formals. Did you use flash?

A quick word of advice.
Turn off your originals. Smugmug does not watermark your originals, and at the size of your files, I can steal every one of these images in a heartbeat. You are naked as a Jbird.
I like some of your candids. Watch you dof, though. I saw several group shots that are OOF because of the shallow dof.

Do you mean under Largest Size?

Yep. Be sure to save it. That way no one can take the pics with a screen cap.

Yes, watch the stealing of images. That is a problem and people will not order if they can grab them free.

I wonder...
I did a SMALL wedding. No guests, just the couple and the ... I don't know what he was. He wasn't a judge or a preacher. Anyway, just them and the guy that married them. Only took an hour. They didn't order a single photo. Now, even if you hate the shots, wouldn't you want at least one photo?
Or, are they that bad?

Well, gee, I would think they would. Nothing wrong with them. But, then again, anyone who doesn't invite anyone to their wedding probably isn't feeling too nostalgic for the ceremony.

The shots are good, not great, there wasn't time to do high art. Very little emotion there on their part. And for people who value privacy but hire a photographer, what's that?

Second one for her. Third for him. I guess that many kinda takes the shine off the apple.

Some good shots there. The lighting on the indoor shots is kind of inconsistent, especially on the small groups. What kind of flash setup do you have? Are you using a bracket?

Two things that I noticed...
First, many of the images seem underexposed. You should not put any images up for sale that are not completely ready. You should only post your best and complete work.
Second, There are a few shots that have shadows caused by the flash unit. these images were taken in portrait orientation. It seems as if you used an external flash attached to your camera. Since the flash is above your camera, the light produces a shadow on the opposite side of the lens (diagonal). When in portrait mode, the shadow is still there but cannot be seen since it is covered by the person's body below it. If the camera were to be held upside down, the shadow would still be there except that it would now be visible above the body. My recommendation would be to take all pictures in landscape orientation and crop for protrait orientation.
