I know this is silly question. I am a newbie. So bear with me. Is there any way to find out what the settings were at the time of capture on a photo? So that you can duplicate the same settings the next time. I am talking about after you have deleted the photo from the camera or card. Any programs that will tell you this?
Thanks

Do you have any of the Canon file-viewing software? All of those programs have this ability.

If you have Zoom-Browser, click on any picture. Click on 'properties' up the top, and all the info you will ever need pops up.
Hope this helps.

Thank you so much. Zoom browser came with the camera but I had not used it. This will really help my learning process.

In windows XP you can right click on the file, click properties, then click summary.
There also a number of small freeware programes that will let you view exif info, I use exifview its a windows explorer plug in that lets you read the info on photos in explorer.
