C&C please......

I snapped this a few nights ago and have been wondering what the best way to "fix" it would be. Could you please advise on all aspects of the photo,,,,from whether it is any good, to what i could do in PSPX2 to fix it up. All i have done is save it as a jpeg and resized to fit the forum.

id reshoot it using a tripod next time. then go way longer exposure to get some of the buildings to show up. that way the pictures has more points of interest to hold your attention then just lights.

Thanks mate. At this stage i have a looooong way to go before i get this stuff anywhere near right.....:)
This is actually the Perth skyline,,,well its supposed to be anyway,,, taken from a place on the front of the hills behind the city,,,,about 20 k's from the CBD.
How long should i do the exposure for do you think?

What aperture was this shot at? For this shot, I'd use a small aperture, a tripod, and a long exposure. This shot, as is, is either out of focus, or experiencing motion blur.
