I am still learning a lot but I figured it was time to post something on here to get better. ;) This is from a recent shoot for an engagement picture. Any tips or pointers let me know. I know that I cut off part of his head. I have been beating my head against my desk on that one! Doh!

I don't know what it is, but the background seems alittle off. The dark area is too dark, maybe it's just me.

nice photo. the crop doesn't look bad. I don't mind that his head is a little cut off. remember, not rules...just guidelines :-D but the photo does look a little soft. did you use any usm?

I think that I may have had it stopped down to low, I thnk that I left the f stop on 3.2 or something. I am at work now so I will have to check when I get home. Thank you for the comments! Everything helps when you have a lot to learn! :)
