What a really cute series- very nicely done.
( I also agree about he sepia toning- not my taste)

This is where I disagree with the other two above, I am really keen on the sepia. I think it adds to the images' emotional bearing. Especially on 5. Good job!

3 seems a lot under pp'd compared to the others. i think 4 is too saturated also.

I usually give the couples a few different versions of each picture, for example a sepia version, a b&w version, color version etc. #3 is definitely a less processed/more natural version.

Overall some nice quality shots, but I think they're way overboard with sharpening! And Tobiah is right that #3 stands out, because it's waaaay less sharpened/contrasty than the others.

hi,

5 & 6 are awesome! I think that 1, 2 and 4 are too sharp and really harsh, but nothing that can't be fixed!

I like what you did with 7

5 & 6 have good direction

3 looks like you forgot to PP

1,2, 4 are way over done, way too much contrast and edge sharpness. It looks like you just cracked up the clarity, contrast, and saturation (in #4)

Thanks all again for the comments. I noticed that there were a lot of comments about over sharpening. None of these images were sharpened at all. I used Lightroom to process them and didn't use the clarity feature at all either. I used my 85mm 1.8 which is sharp on it's own so I never sharpen in PP when I use it. Perhaps it's the contrast that makes them look over sharpened or perhaps it's the way flickr has converted them(I've had problems with that before). Anyhow, thanks all for the comments. :)

Nice shots. Well, 3 looks normal and 4 looks like WAY too much contrast and oversharpened. Not sure what makes it that way, but keep up the good work...
