well tell me if youre doing any photo sessions/trips/hikes and need a photo buddy who doesn't mind walking hours and waiting all day for that one prefect (well, ok looking in my case...if even that) shot :D

No problem. I do regularly go hiking/shooting on weekends. I'm a bit overbooked in the next weeks, but I'll let you know!

Also around, up in Zurich. Get out and about when I'm not working, and the weather plays ball :-) Also work shifts, so quite often, not out on weekends. Nothing specific planned in near future, apart from Axalp in Oct.

I've 4 peeps coming over from UK for Axalp, as they had so much fun last year, and never have a chance to climb mountains, even little ones :-)

Assuming you at least understand German, I suggest you look at DSLR Forum (http://www.dslr-forum.de/) and DForum (http://www.dforum.de/) for buddies as well. Although German, they cater to the German speaking part of Switzerland as well.

There's my downfall, only at the begining of learning German, shame on me.
There is a classic car event in St. Gallen this weekend. I can't make it as working, but for anyone else who's interested.

hmm, i was actually thinking to do that as soon as we get a nicer weather here!
i just heard that the lions have some cubs! that'd be a great item to photograph.
what about the 4-5April weekend if the weather gets nicer?

I've still never been to the ZH zoo. So it might be a good idea. 4-5 April weekend should be fine by me...

then you should really come and visit it! i find it way nicer than the Basel one (their aquarium is just astonishing) but else, lions, tigers, snow leaopards and masoala are a must to see!
what about Sunday, i assume we all have to do groceries, laundry etc on Saturday..?

Sunday the 5th is fine by me. I've started a new thread (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=665609) to add visibility to eventual other interested people.. I'll also PM the other Swiss members who popped up in here in case they want to join.
