Kauai Sunset

I have been sifting through over 450 raw files from a recent vacation. This is a sunset we watched for over 30 min. from the cliffside in Kauai.
C & C appreciated.

That's a nice shot, I like how the sun is interacting with the palm fronds in the foreground. Did you try a landscape crop? I think a landscape crop might be better, there really isn't that much going on at the top of the photo.

I've seen several variations shot of this very same locale. Some were postcards. Your shot is just as nice as any of the others.

I don't recall ever having seen it shot with a landscape orientation.

OK, here is another in the series shot slightly earlier and in landscape. Not sure if I should crop out the smaller tree on the right since it would bring the sun to the centre. Thoughts ?
