I posted a different version of this pic earlier. I played around with it in photoshop a bit. What do you think?

Personally I like the earlier version better...Snow doesn't seem quite so blown out...Very nice shot BTW :)
Course the color of the water seems nicer in the first......Still a pic worthy of hanging I say ......

Can you take this photo again but using a shutter speed sufficiently fast to'freeze' the water and make it look wet and turbulent - as in reality :) !!! Otherwise I like the photo very much.
I can't understand the vogue for making waterfalls look silky smooth - but I realise I may be 'out of step':confused:

I like the earlier version. Apart from the waterfall itself, I am also fascinated by the shiny rock surface on the third right bottom. Since it is not covered with snow I am trying to figure out whether it is truely shiny rock surface or is the effect due to running water. Love this photo.
