G'Day All.
Two photos of the Holden Stormriders demonstration driving team in action. Quite an
amazing demonstration of driving ability which these pictures dont really do justice to.
The reds appear to have gone a little blocky when I reduced the filesize
Notice in the second photo that the car is being driven in reverse, rather quickly :-)

Its a Holden.
To be more spefic its a Holden Comadore Ute (opal omega platform, same as the new pontiac GTO in the US).
RockOne Do they still do formation driving?
I remember seeing photos years and years ago back in the days of the VL of the Holden driving team doing some very close formation driving, including several cars all lined up against each other, on two wheels.

G'Day
Thanks for the comments. The second is proably out of focus because it was a little later on in the day ,and the AF on the 75-300 was being a little dodgy http://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif http://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif. You should see how many I missed completely http://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif !.
Moppie, thanks for clearing that up about the type of car, I knew they were Holden Utes, but didn't have a clue about the other info.
They still do formation driving as well, I am guessing something like the first picture here is what you mean (Had a ahrd job getting this one below 100kb for some reason?.
They also do a bit of jumping off ramps too, like in the second picture (Pity I cut the wheels off http://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif ). They did this show at night too, and I tried to get a few pictures, but at ISO1600 the noise makes them unusable really.
