the vette behind the cobra didn't even slow when the cobra spun, it just floored it and passed.

Great shots. Hopefully he kept it out of the barrier.

Here's a coincidence. Not ten minutes before you posted this thread, I got an email from a friend of mine who's building a Cobra. He sends me these notes every couple months to bring me up to date on his progress. It sounds like it's almost a complete car now, but when he does get it all together he has to tear it all apart again for painting.

So far, he's spared no expense, up to and including a Jack Rausch engine---dyno tested at better than 500 hp.

thanks, yes he did a great job of controlling it.
and he didnt even let it get in the way of others.

cool, tell him to send some pix.

a Roush engine is a pretty hot item, toooooons of money.

Oh my... the thought of wrecking a Cobra stops my heart!

Great shots!

speaking of wrecking classics.. I heard today that during the course of the run of "Dukes of Hazards" they wrecked over 200 Dodge Chargers :( :( :(

hahaha yeah it'd probably stop mine to see it happen, i'd die if i wrecked one.

i wouldn't doubt it, they went thru a lot of cars to do that show, it should be a sin to do that.
they only had 6 Eleanors for Gone in 60(2000), but in the 1st Gone in 60(1974) they used one and it still runs.
