How the heck do you retain exif info in jpegs

When? I know "save for web" in photoshop removes it, and the cs raw plugin that comes with it removes it too (the new beta doesn't).

i have a very nice batch i created in PS CS

It converts the profile, converts to 8 bits, converts to 800 pixels, then saves for web in a folder on my desktop.

During this process the data is lost.

I don't even bother trying to retain EXIF data in Photoshop. When I'm done, I just use BreezeBrowser to copy it back into the edited file from the original. As long as you keep the filenames the same (in different folders, of course), it's pretty quick and simple.

Like I said Timmy, "save for web" removes EXIF data. Use "save as" instead.
