I think your exposure was a bit off. I played with your image. I hope you don't mind. Played with levels and rotated by 2 degrees and a slight crop to get rid of white edges after rotating.

Thanks for the comment, exposure wasn't really off.
Bride liked the natural lighting and somewhat darker image, didn't notice the slight angle until you mentioned it.
Thanks again

The bride doesn't have very good taste! Oh well, many people don't.

theres diff between available light and wrong exposure. they are shot too dark imho. i like weddings that look bright and happy!!

You have such great color at the reception. Did you have any opportunity/more shots of the colors?
I'm a Scarlett Lillian (http://scarlettlillian.net) fan, though, so I think I'm used to her use of color.

Kirk, wow, what a venue for the reception!
The first shot is underexposed, but you can lighten and sharpen and it will be fine.
Other shots, too far away, but we get the gist.

Pardon... are you saying the bride liked that first image? Wow. Just a suggestion... You might want to look into learning fill flash soon. I think this customer/bride was a fluke.
