Hey peeps!

Bit nervous as these are my first posts on POTN, but let me know what you think..... Any tips for the future gratefully received!

Just to explain - it was a drift demo day with Shane Lynch from Boyzone and other drivers from the BDC and EDC championships. Weather was a bit rubbish all day long, and the heavens really opened in time for the 'finals' demo run. But there was this huge puddle that formed that was a bit of fun!

I was shooting in high-quality jpg with my 55-200 USM (longest I've got I'm afred) on my 350D, and the pics are just as they came onto the computer, no post-processing apart from resizing in Elements.

Hope you like just a couple of the 140+ I took (most of which were blurry or half a car!!)

Welcome to POTN and to Motorsports. Nice way to introduce yourself. I'd suggest a slower shutter speed next time to catch some motion in the wheels.

No, but we, the ne7ers, use it twice a year for a track day so recognised it

Looks pretty cool, but as was said, motion in the wheels would be nice. It looks like that guy in the second picture has lost his sideskirt!

no2 is a great capture, but could be greatly enhanced with some gentle PP work. If you had image editing on I'd post my edit ...
