Emergency wedding!

Background:
I'm 17.
In highschool.
Got a call lastnight, an aquaintance was getting married today, needed a photographer. I explaned that I'm no pro, so we agreed on $150, and I'd just give him an unedited dvd.

Got to the location today; and found this background

The pastor's house, in a room about 15X15, walls littered with old photos and trinkets, and chairs crammed everywhere. No room to move around.

but i think it all turned out okay.

oah and i got a $50 bonus.

Good composition and control of DOF

Did you shoot RAW? I ask as the shot would look even better after white balance correction :)

I'm curious as to how or why it became an emergency.

Was the wedding date not planned until the last minute?

Was the wedding date planned, but the first photographer bailed at the last minute?

Was it sheer oversight?

I'm fairly sure the groom doesn't read photography fourms, so I have no problem saying this, the Groom is cheep.
Only when the Brides mother came to town, and asked when they we're meeting the photographer, and he said "we don't have one", she threw a fit, so he called me :P

Sounds like you got it all covered, with this cheap quickie. Was there any plan with the $150? Say minimum 50 prints? Or editing time.

I've only done one job for a friend, where it was her 21st birthday. My friend and I both used our shots, got them printed, at cost. She paid for the prints, and I didn't expect any money from it. Just a learning experience, and made me realise exactly how long it takes to resize/edit images to upload (via 56K), to the print store I use.

Anyway, again, the shots seem fine, just warm. But editing it, would probably make everyone appear to blue or cold like, and wouldn't acheive the same warm love feeling, suited for a wedding. Also, some b&W / sepia effect would look cool... Maybe you can suggest another fee, and do some more, larger prints for them, or family. :)
