I was sitting right near these guys, Rafa walked between the middle of us. Was good to read that the pros were adopting the same strategy as me of using another photogs flash to light our photos!

wow, you had a great seat. Does Wimbledon allow punters to take in telephoto lenses. I was at Queens for the semis and they didn't mind.
The guy on the extreme left nearest you doesn't look unlike Mr Aspland. The link doesn't do justice to his photo which needs to be seen as published in the paper.

No problems getting the camera in, bag checkers saw it but were more concerned about the 4 x 250ml cans of Pimms I was trying to bring (the limit was 2 but I was hoping to get 4 in as they were so small - rules are rules though!)
Edit: I've just done a bit of a google search and confirmed racketman's suspicions that Aspland is the one on the far left!!
