CC on BW landscapes

I was shooting with a Canon S3 IS

Depth of field needs to be improved on the first one, and you need to dodge to lower portion of the second one. If you want less attention on the foreground, then give it less space on your frame. Otherwise, it's too dark and distracting.

Clouds are blown out in the first and I agree about increasing the DOF. The foreground is pretty dark in the second, perhaps dodging as suggested and some crop. The mountain in the background of the 2nd is very cool.
