I think this is the forum for a S5IS. I do not read any posts for this camera. Would like to hear from people who use this camera, and pics. This is my first digital camera. Bought it last year. Now i want a dslr! Thanks. C and C welcome.

Nice pics AKBOY, but the reason you found no threads on the S5IS is that this is the G series forum. Your camera is one of those featured in the Small Compact Digitals by Canon. This forum features G1 thru G9 and Pro 1.

I fairly enjoy the S5. I'm not a pro by any means, but I do enjoy having a camera with a lot of features I can use. Not to mention I can easily put it in my pocket while on vacation. Speaking of...

I like my camera. I am still learning though. I've had mine 2 months.
