My Canon A70 is now taking only very fuzzy and very pink-looking pictures, so I am trying to decide what to do. I have pretty much decided to replace the camera and not try to have it repaired, but I have a TC-DC52 2.4x teleconverter lens which I paid a good bit for, so I'm trying to decide whether I should get another camera to use with it or if I should sell it and go with another camera model. What I am hoping you guys can tell me is whether the PowerShot A95 is the newest A-series camera that I can use with the TC-DC52 and whether there is any real market for the TC-DC52. The asking price for one is pretty high on ebay and elsewhere, but I have yet to see anyone actually bid on one on ebay so I wonder if there is any real demand for them. Thanks.

I did, but read it to mean just the LCD is messed up. Now that I read it again, I guess the actual photos can be messed up as well. I will look into it more. Thanks a lot for the help.
EDIT: Wow! Looking at the example photos, this is EXACTLY what my camera is doing, other than them being pink instead of green. Thanks a million, gool! I am contacting Canon right now.

my camcorder had one of those........they fixed it up good, and had it back 9 days after sending it off. hats off to canon for their repairs on that.
my only advice on this wvbucco, would be that when you send it to the repair center they sometimes will tell you they are going to charge you anyways, so make sure that you call them and tell them that you talked with canon, or include any email correspondences. once i sent them that it was no problem

No problem. :)
I wish that was the problem with my A95. Mine had a short circuit somewhere and would cost near $100 to repair and is not worth it. :(

I got my camera back from Canon yesterday, good as new. Yay! It seems like it's a little faster between shots than it used to be, but that might be my imagination. Hopefully, I can squeeze a few more years out of this old A70 now, 'cause there's a lot of other stuff I can spend $$ on. :)

I believe an A95 will get you an SD1000 for $100.00 or the SX1000 for $125.00. I believe these are all refurbs with 6 mos.warranty.

Unfortunately, my camera is in Canada and I'm in Korea. :)
