Glad to hear you shot plenty of pics!
I like the various different effects you've tried... but my fave shot is number 5 - I feel it captures the grit and determination of cycling...
Good stuff Gu.

Thanks Gavin, I try my best if I'm given a chance to. It's like a massive field full of actions and potentials waiting to be discovered.
Plus I play with every piece of kit I take with me, otherwise it wouldn't justify the effort lugging them around!
Couple of more shots which I quite liked

Ahhh....the fish is back.... very nice! I now need a fish... I'm sure I am not alone here! Nothing is wide enough anymore! May I ask where did you get your fish?... and did you go for the Canon or the Sigma...the reviews make them sound pretty similar in performance...

The usual, I didn't stay till the end, got seriously depressed when I accidentally formated 680MB worth of images from my MK II ... right after I done it, I stood there for a good 5 minutes, and couldn't believe what just happened in front of me ... The windows on the first floor was shut, otherwise I'd jumped ...

That's right, nothing is wide enough, even with fish standing on top of the stands, I wish I had a 14mm, just so I can get everything in perfectly!
I got my fish from ebay, UK spec, a LOT cheaper, this is Canon 15mm fish, I'm staying with Canon if I can, though it costs more, but image quality is what it counts, also I don't want any future troubles just in case I upgrade camera body(MK III?). Sometimes third party lenses have compatible issues with newer bodies.

Ouch! Not good!
Not at all, I felt really stupid and really really wanna hit myself ... hard!
In the end, I gave the car some good kicking ... mostly on tyres, though :p
A lesson learned in a hard way, I'm gonna make sure it would never ever happen again, EVER!

When you format your card and as long as you won't write on it, you cann still get back the picture by putting the card in a card reader on your pc and use one of these disc-recovery softwares...
Anyway great pictures... nice work done...

I used PC Inspector (http://www.pcinspector.de/file_recovery/uk/welcome.htm) once to get data back from my USB-Memory-Key, but it works with every drive you can see in windows.
You can download a free version which works fine.
Then simply select you disk (the card you want to restore), click ok, and the prog will show you the deleted files.
Select them and you can save them to another location...
Worked fine for me...
Hope to have helped...

Cheers for the link Ian, member Attu hooked me up with a copy of image rescue(thanks a lot!), it worked, but it retrieved images from the day before!!!
I have no idea what I did wrong, but it seems not possible to get them back, i'll keep trying but wouldn't expect too much.
Thanks for going extra mile to find me the software though!
