Went out to take a photo of the ice on the trees before it melted. After my first shot I realized I had my white balance set for incandescent light, But I kind of like the cold look to it.

Wow, I love them Sandy! I do like the first one the best....like that blue lighting...I think I wouldve done that in PS had I taken that shot with the correct white balance LOL Nicely done! I KNEW I should've braved the roads and taken a ride yesterday!!! We didnt get much ice here...nothing on the trees, just a bit of ice on the roads Sat. AM, but then it turned to rain :(

That first one is really cool. Out of the two that would be my keeper.

Yup! not bad for screwing up. Wonder what I would have gotten if it was on flourescent
My problem is I always point out my mistakes I've got to learn to tell people that I did it to show how artistic and talented I am

Both are good. How many wonderful inventions or developments were really screwups that worked? Many, many, I think.

You know, they are both good but I like the "mistake" the best. Funny how that happens.

Sandy most of my good shots (heck all of them) are mistakes! :) Nice discovery though.

I just love the first shot and think that it is visually more interesting with the branches on the bottom of the photo and the large branch framing the side. Keep making great mistakes like that!!
