#1 looks good, I'd adjust the levels and turn the dark areas completely black.
#2 looks unnatural. It's a night time shot, but it's so bright, it almost looks like day, yet it's not.
Most of the HDR photos are too overdone in my opinion, except #6. The effect really works with that one. I'd back off the extreme settings when doing the HDR processing.

I like 5,7 and 8 I think the strong processing works with these.
I like the composition in 10 but feel you have pushed it slightly too far.
Not keen on the composition of the highway shots and the fountain is a tad too bright.
4,6 and 9 do not float my boat i am affraid.
I think you have a good eye for abstract details and i am a huge fan of HDR.
Maybe the exposure was a little too long on the first three shots and the long exposure traffic shots are probably so cliche now they have to be outstanding to work IMO.
for 4 and 6 i think i can see what you were attempting and feel a longer exposure may have improved these.
Pretty darn good for a couple of months in id say.

thanks for all the input guys! and yes, a lot of the HDR ones i now feel are a little over done, the car ones were my first attempts at HDR and i just got excited took them too far! lol.

i also agree with the long expousre traffic one, so cliche..

Be careful to not fall into the trap of becoming a 'one trick pony'.

I am a recovering HDR junkie, I know how alluring it is (photomatix makes it so EASY).

I think most people tend to overdo it with HDR in the beginning. It's such a cool effect so we go nuts over it. After a while, you get over the initial wowness and use HDR liberally.

If you are looking for honest advise on how to take better pictures, post the original pictures the way they came out of the camera.

Right now, people can primarily comment on your post processing techniques.

This is a really good and obvious point which, up till now, we all missed LOL.

i dont do much PP except of course the HDRs which is like half of them i know, lol.
but even with those, i just combine the 3-5 pics and resize/add a border

Nice Si, I think i will have to take my red Si out and do a few HDR's.

You should do a HDR shoot of Just your Si and put it on 8th gen civic.
