This is a shot I took ( and posted ) of a heron in the Lake District earlier last year. I made some adjustments to the original; contrast and saturation along with a new frame. The changes are subtle, the background was slightly darker and the saturation slightly increased.
I have to thank David ( Meerkat17 ) for his recent help with this, it's much appreciated. :D

That's a great shot! What lens and settings did you use?

David,
Yes, I agree, the foreground rock is annoying. I would be against cloning such a large area and cropping would loose some of the large moss covered rock, which I feel is needed for balance. So unless someone can come up with a clever work around I guess I'm stuck with it.

Bruce,
The lens is the 100-400L,
Settings : ISO 200, 1/200, f8 . Metering mode - Partial
The lens was at 400mm so I think IS did it's bit here.

Thanks guys for the comments,
Cameron
