I recently bought my camera, so i set sail today to try to get a little better familiar with it.....nice afternoon driving around, found a few things that i wanted to try (fast moving windwill's, nature, old buildings, people, etc..)....

The log cabin wasnt really intended to be a 'photo', I saw it on the side of the road and it suits what I am looking to build for my cottage...so i snapped a quick photo.

The baby blue building is exactly that...a baby blue building :-). it has always stood out to me, so i thought I would snap a shot.

the rest are self explaining i think...

These were shot with my new 70-300mm sigma apo lense.

a moving windwill...I was trying to learn how to use the camera in fast moving settings.....the picture is kinda borning, but I think i captured the 'action' shot i was after given the blades have limited blur.....I also tried a slow shutter speed to get a creative shot of this one, but that didnt turn out very well... :-(

I like the blue building...it conveys the feeling of cold very effectively. Good luck.

the 1st would be an awesome shoot if the wires weren't in the way.

Thanks guys. I think if i go back, I could get that whole building without the wires with a litle creative moving.

Not sure why, I really like this old feedmill and when i was out for my drive today passed it and decided i had to take the shot. needless to say there were 30 kids toboganing right next to me bugging me to take their picture too..... :-)
