Eagle (on the cheap)

A few days ago I purchased a $35 70-210mm zoom and a $20 doubler to get an idea if I should get the 70-200L or the bigger 100-400L. Had this visitor stop by for a few hours this morning in the back yard. The photo's pretty soft due to the cheap "glass" and manual focus, but it allows me to compare which of the two lenses to get. Curious as to how sharp the "L" zooms will be.

Soft or not, it's a good image. I'll bet a little PS would make it even better.

I agree with sparker1 really nice shot and not bad on the focus. what f stop did you use?
