mmmm, very interesting image. It feels a bit dark yet at the same time it feels right.

What's the story behind the shot? Why you choose to shoot this and this way? It might help viewer to understand the image better to appreciate it.

I like it artistically :)

Stensgaard,
Great image, I love the detail you have in the cape and how everything is in silhouette.

If I could find anything wrong I'd probably say I'd have prefered the model further to the left of the image - but I don't think it matters that much - its a strong image.

Regards
David

One of the best shots I've seen on these boards.

Is that you "praising the storm"?

I really like it!

I wish you would post the process and what/how you made this image. Not too many people on this forum do though.

Thanks guys. This is what i believe is the best picture i took with my 10D last year. Camera now sold and replaced.

Pic was taken on the wild westcoast of Denmark one summerevening with a storm approaching. Girl /Model standing on a World War 2 concrete bunker holding a light cloth. I had wished for this picture, and went to this location to take this shot.

Just before sunset she posed - i was standing quite some distance away with a 70-200/2.8L IS (with IS activated). CenterWeight metered for the sky and shot from below the bunker.

Some ps layer work has been done and sharpening.

Thanks for the postitive response

Great shot, very very moody. Looks like it would make a good cover jacket for a Stephen King novel.

Thanks again to all.

To Imanewbie : yes it has entered the contest a short while ago, but i donīt think it will stand against some of those entries. Awesome pictures amongst them.
