I posted this for someone on another forum. I thought some people here might want to see it too.
My Amvona background came today. I got a Civichrome Elite and they call the color copperwhirl. I got the 10x16 foot size and it came from their sales on ebay. Here is my non-technical review. I have no experience with any photo backgrounds but i'll do my best. ;D
I don't think their website represents the color very well. When I ordered it I was worried it was going to be too orange. It's actually more orangish-tan and less saturated which is fine with me. It came folded and in a plastic bag that is re-closeable via two plastic snaps. It was made in china if you're wondering. I do need to hang it or roll out some of the big creases. I might take my clothes steamer to a corner and see if it makes any of the color run. If not, I might steam some of the creases a little. The edges are sewn and one end has grommets for hanging it. The other end has a rod pocket for putting your background stand rod though.
I don't have anything to compare it to but it should work fine for my amateur use. Overall I'm happy with it.
This is what was on their website...

This is what it looks like laying over my couch...

This is what it looks like up close. The light is coming from the window to the side so you can see the wrinkly surface.

This is what the weave looks like relative to a penny. Don't mind the little piece of fuzz on it.
