I'm experimenting with photos for a digital scrapbook. My mother is almost 80 and I'm trying to put together some images that are iconic when I think of her. The effect I'm trying to get is sort of ethereal and a little grain is okay. I desaturated and softened the focus on the first shot. I softened the focus on the second shot as well and did a little burning on the statue because it was very washed out.
