Just got a Digital Rebel and wondered if anyone knew if there was a plastic cover to protect the LCD screen on the camera?
Where I used to work we had a Nikon D100 and it has a plastic cover that covers its LCD screen.
If there isn't one out there...does anyone have suggestions on how to protect it?
Thanks

Palm protector, then find your sharpest utility knife.
I tried to use them and dont like how it degrades the already crap LCD especially on the smaller LCD. I don't remamber where I exactly heard it, maybe RFM, but I think the replacement plastic cover for the LCd is around 10 bucks, so scratch away.

The Nikon covers were about $20, I cracked one and had to replace it. My photo tech had a used one from a demonstrater and charged me half price...only because the originals were on backorder.
I have a Treo 600, so I have some of those protective sheets I can cut to size....but the hard plastic always made me feel safer even though it something really hits the back of the camera it's gonna crack that LCD.
