I found him again, he's been around my bushes for months now so I consider him a resident. And to pay rent, he needs to be cooperative, that wasn't the case yesterday but he actually sat still today. I'll be posting them as I convert them, note I have no Photoshop anymore so this is all strait off the DPP and resize. CC please.

Shooting with the kit lens or the Sigma?

Sigma. The bug is way to tiny to even recognize it with the kit lens. You can tell my lens isn't the best, wish I could get crystal clear shots.

these look good. practice helps. seems like this set is better than the last one!

That's why I posted them, this set is better. I used my tripod as a monopod to help ease the weight off my hands (stopped a lot of shaking). I also tried a higher Aperture. I'm starting to get back into it finally, lol. Thanks for the comment :)

that looks like the mantis i saw on the mantid forum today.one of the longest mantis..forgot the name tho..nice shots.
