I left my dinner in the truck

Yip.

And its bugging me!


Its summer here, nice and hot and very humid, not the sort of the weather you want to lock food in the cab of a truck in.

And I did.
On my way past the fish market this afternoon I stopped in abd got some nice fillets of Lemon Fish (sand shark) for dinner. The lady knows me, and puts them in an extra plastic bag filled with ice to keep them cool and freash while I finnish my run.
I finnished on time at 3pm, locked up the truck and headed home.
Now at 5pm Iv just realised that 2 fish fillets are sitting in a bag of ice in the cab of the truck, parked in the hot sun, and its rush hour traffic making getting them rather difficult.

What a pain in the butt.

You really wanted cheese and crackers for supper anyway, didn't you.

Actualy it might be rice. just rice.

But some cheese and apple pie sounds interesting, Iv never tried that before, but someone mentioned it in an apple pie photo thread.

Hope your truck isn't too ripe when you get back to it.

A ripe truck would not make for a good day.
That and Im hungry, wish me luck, its not close enough to 6 that traffic no longer bothers me.
Im off to rescue my dinner.

If it gets hot enough in the truck, you might have poached filets by the time you get there.
