Last wedding.. a bit sad at first

This bride dreamed of exchanging vows overlooking th water. Her location was perfect for that. As everyone gathered we started seeing VERY darkm clowds in the distance and heared thunder. It came in quickly ... the bridal party made it down the aisle and just as it was the bride's turn, the first raindrops came down. They had her walk down the aisle and then moved everyone inside (just in time before the skies opened up) and started over inside.
The bride was devestated and it took her a good 20 minutes to gather herself. My heart went out to her.

The positive side of it... I have never seen a bride walking down the aisle with a sky that amazing and powerful above her....

That definately sucks. You did a great job of capturing some joy afterwards. I'm sure the bride will be happy with the set.

I've seen quite a few wedding shots in bad weather, they don't turn out half bad in the hands of someone capable.

rainy days are a weddings worse enemy. always tuff to have a back up plan for them.

Great to see you, Jenn. The pictures are great, even though sad. The bride is beautiful, though and I love that first shot.

Really nice to see you here posting. Missed your shots. Looks like summer has a ton of weddings. Good for everyone here.
