I Like:
- The tones
- The textures
- The lighting
- The framing
Not So Much:
- Missing a piece of right paw
- The "mass" at camera right is just busy enough to be distracting
Beautiful Kitty...

Thank you both so much.
I haven't done a lot of b&w so you made me feel pretty good.
I don't like the missing paw either.
Thank you for your feedback.

Considering that it is a live animal you are shooting and you can't tell it to place it's paw where it looks best. I think this is a great picture. The cat looks half hung over...

Thanks BrokenMirrors.
Shooting kittens is short attention span theater. :)
This guy has been playing with his peers and he has a small scratch on his eye.

Yes, it is difficult to shoot hyperactive animals and you have done good work. Lightening is great in fact. I don't think missing paw makes any difference. It is a natural shot and we cannot make the kitten make a pose. From his eyes, it looks like he was sleeping.

This works for me. I love the grainy feel.

Thank you both very much!
Very gratifying as I haven't done a lot of black and white. :)
