Niagara Falls, during a tribute to Virginia Tech, where they had the school colors on the falls for the entire evening. It was quite something to see, and even though many people turned out to see it, there was quiet throughout the park, except for the roar of the falls.

Both of these were taken with my P&S before I got my dSLR. I believe they were at the World War II memorial on a night tour. Both were taken at about 2:00 A.M. with a 15 or 30 second exposure. I don't remember.

An old self driven piston pump below a small waterfall.
As far as I know they use the input water to drive a large piston connected to a small piston to pump the water back out again.
