4th of July Fireworks

First time ever taking fireworks, it was raining and there was so much smoke every time a firework went off. I still think the pictures turned out pretty good. C&C greatly appreciated.

Open the shutter before it was shot, then closed it when you felt like it? I'm not sure I like the tracers of the shot going up, but I do like the the explosion. Over all good job, better than a lot of them I have seen.

Yea i opened and closed it when i wanted, i had it set on bulb mode. I kind of like the trackers of the fireworks going up, but thats my opinion

Nice shots! The trackers look a bit smudgy..but fireworks look great.

# 1 is the best shot among these three IMHO.
