I enjoy snapping photos, and I have a question about taking photos with my digital camera. Im a big time drag racing fan, and when im not racing I enjoy taking photos. The last trip out I snapped a few shots and came home to have a look. Its the same old thing, you have a car frozen on the street.

My question is, using my camera ( a Canon EOS 300D ) how can I adjust the settings in a way that make the cars look like they are moving, or showing some sort of motion ?

I put the camera on the sports icon and clicked away, but the cars are just frozen on the photo, and i would like some tips on how to make them appear moving .

thanks in advance,
ceasar

G'Day.
I'm no expert here, but if you try using Tv mode and set the shutter speed to something like 1/100 second or so and pan with the moving vehicle it blurs the background. The slower the shuuter speed setting, the more background blur. It takes a while, and a bit of practice to get the panning motion sorted though.

Caesar-

Think about !

Camera and car moving together = background blur/car sharp
