Could've used a lower shutter speed methinks on 1,2 and 4.

Can't see the exif, but those look upwards of 1/300 at the minimum if not faster.

Sorry but I had to remove you last two attachments. The Image Posting Rules (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=151328)only allow for 2 attached images. However you are welcome to embedd up to 8.

Nice shots but I too agree that a slower shutter speed would have been nice.

Ok guys thanks for your comments and sorry for attaching too many pics. Just out of info what sort of shutter speed should i try using?

I can't see your exif in these which would be a big help, but I would venture to guess since these are 3/4 shots, somewhere around 1/125 might be slow enough. Start there and move down. When shooting motorsports you want to capture some motion at least in the wheels..

You need to bear in mind is that the festival is no longer really a motorsport event. Very few timed runs are made of the hill nowadays and most cars tend to head up there at little more than idle speed. To get any sense of motion blur into the cars would require using very slow shutter speeds. A few years ago things were different, but like so many things, the Festival of Speed is a poor shadow of its former self.
