This Station in Windsor, Connecticut was built around 1890, During the late 1960's it stopped being used by the railroad and fell into disrepair, in 1987 the Town of Windsor restored the Station and a Freight house this is a couple of photo's of the restored Station

That's wonderful that they restored the station. Here in New Hampshire, there are a couple of old stations of which I'm aware.

The main station in the state capital of Concord was an enormous, beautiful building - it was bulldozed and now is a parking lot for some crappy discount stores.

A small-town station in Canterbury fell into disrepair, along with a couple of train-cars and a caboose. It is now owned by a real estate agency and is being used as office space.

We value our rail-history up in New Hampshire.

That's it! Now I remember. Thanks for brushing the cobwebs aside. I gotta get over there and see it up close one of these days. Looks like a real nice building.

Thanks again, stoneylonesome.

Good shots. I'm glad it was restored. There should be a law against razing old RR stations, they are such nice buildings.
