My photography skills

I took these pictures of my son zach at some local places in our area and was just wanting some feedback on my skills. What do you think of my work or style. Any comments or help would be greatly appreciated. I have been lurking here looking at all the beautiful photos so I finially decided to post a few. Thanks for looking

If you click quote on my message you can see how I just pulled out the jpg from all the other info you had pasted in, and then left that in the IMG tags. Hope that helps.

They seem a bit soft, did you do any post processing?

yes on the second one I put a soft porcelain filter on it in corel paint shop

I think my only thing is the color balance. there's a blue overtone to both of them....

not sure why the color balance seems a big blue in the 1st but the 2nd one in pp it does have a bluish tint in the action

id correct the color balance and i dont really care for the pp on the second shot. look more of a "glamour" type of action that works for girl shot.... still both very nice!
