shooting concert tonight

hi to all shooting sons band tonight, question is which body to take 5D or 40D ?? any advice appreciated

Personally I would take both. ;) Actually I think it would depend on how far you think you'll be from the action. If space it tight, take the 5D. If you'll be further back, take the 40D. If it may be a very low light situation, I'd take the 5D.

I'm shooting toinght too and I always bring both my bodies... ya never know what you might want/need

If you have a comfortable bag to carry them.... why not. I'm not too familiar with the 5D but if you can shoot in a comfortable 3200iso to help boost you SS do it. I use a 20D and shoot mostly in 1600iso for low lighting things like this and they come out great so i'm sure you can get either body working great. What kind of glass were you thinking about bringing?

never mind judgeing by your signature i'd mount each L lens on each body and just shoot away. Or if there is anyone you trust have them shoot with the other body and get tons of different pics.
