Apologies this seems a pretty 'noddy' question for this forum - but hope someone can help nonetheless.
I have a Canon digital camcorder 'mv450i' which I have been using successfully but not yet transferred any images (still or movie) to PC.
The camera came with a load of software and cables enabling me to perform digital editting etc on PC (I think?). Unfortunately I no longer have access to this as it was lost in a move!
What is the minimum I need to buy/do to allow me to transfer stills (& movie clips) to PC. Further is it also possible/feasible to hook up the camera for use as a web-cam for online discussion.
(I have a Dell Laptop 'Latitude' with standard ports running Windows XP)
