Fire dance at the Oregon Country Fair

A fun photographic opportunity. If you've never been to the OCF it's quite an experience out in a wooded property. This is from the after hours fire show.

Nice, #2 is a very interesting shot with the audience in the background. Was the fire the only light source for all of these?

Yes, the only light source was the fire these performers were holding.

All shots were at ISO 1600 and mostly wide open. I used mostly my 85L, 135L, 35L, in that order. Camera was a 5D I help stabilize a bit by having it mounted on a tripod with the ballhead loose enough to still move easily.

Very nice, well exposed and composed. If you had used a flash, it might have ruined the dramatic affect of the lighting from fire.
