This shot was taken 2 weeks before she died at Brookfield Zoo... it's almost like she knew!

I took this with a Digital Rebel 75-300 on a tripod.

Thanks for the replys... I live just minutes from the zoo and went to see her and her young son often. As sad as it was to hear about her passing, it was amazing to see how the other females stepped in to take care of the young ape as if he were there own.

The above picture is of mother and son also two weeks before her passing. It was very neet to see the baby watching his mother scratching her hand... as you can see in the picture he then started doing what mom was doing.
