Trying to figure out what in the world is the deal with my 550 sigma flash. It's the sg model I think. I haven't used it much since I have fast lenses but last night I tried to, and when I had it on ttl the image was almost completely white. I tried max and min and neither looked right. This was in aperture mode. Shoudn't I be able to just put the thing on ttl and let the camera regulate the light for a good photo??? This is a 20d. Thanks

Has it ever worked on you 20D? I know alot of those non Canon flashes quite often mysteriously don't work with newer models.

Mine both expose fine. It should be set to ETTL mode.
Is yours the 500 Super DG model Canon specific model?
